Sunday 22 November 2026 at 6pm — Auditorio Felipe VI, Estepona
La revoltosa, Ruperto Chapí's zarzuela, is performed at the Auditorio Felipe VI in Estepona on Sunday 22 November 2026 at 6pm.
In a shared courtyard tenement in late-19th-century Madrid, Felipe boasts of being the only one unmoved by Mari Pepa's charms, even though he's hopelessly in love with her; she, for her part, is consumed with jealousy whenever she sees him with other women. While the neighbours head off to the local festival, the two are left alone and finally admit what they feel for each other – though their peace doesn't last long.
One of the most popular light operas of the género chico tradition, with numbers as well known as Felipe and Mari Pepa's duet. Tickets from €44.
