Several dates — Teatro Cánovas, Málaga
The Disappearing Act, by Yinka Esi Graves, plays Teatro Cánovas in Málaga on 9 and 10 February 2027 at 10.30am, as part of the Matinal Cánovas series for school groups.
The British flamenco dancer, whose father is Jamaican and mother Ghanaian, presents her first solo work, built out of her own experience. A figure from a Degas painting becomes the starting point for a reflection on the invisibility of those who are different: what happens when someone is present, but eyes pass straight through them and no one notices.
With musical direction and guitar by Raúl Cantizano, Remi Graves on drums and singing by Rosa de Algeciras. Tickets €8.
ℹ️ This show is partly in Spanish.
