Giselle

Giselle, Adolphe Adam's great Romantic ballet, is performed at the Auditorio Felipe VI in Estepona on Saturday 19 December 2026 at 7.30pm.

First staged in Paris in 1841, with a story by Théophile Gautier drawn from a legend recorded by Heinrich Heine, it tells of a young peasant girl who dies of grief on discovering her lover's deceit and joins the Wilis, the spirits of young women who dance by night and punish the men who betrayed them.

One of the essential works of the classical repertoire, with one of the most demanding roles for a ballerina. Tickets from €40.70.
