A classical and contemporary flamenco piece for dancer and piano, built around the beauty of small things and the relationship between body, sound and memory. Ana Morales returns to pieces of music that once moved her mother to tears as a girl, and that she herself had never wanted to dance – turning them into a story of her own.
Ana Morales (Barcelona, 1982), winner of Spain's National Dance Award 2022, the Giraldillo for Best Dance at the Seville Biennial and the Desplante Award, is one of the leading figures renewing flamenco today. She is accompanied on piano by Málaga-born José Carra, one of the country's most distinctive jazz musicians. Running time: 55 minutes. Tickets €24.
