Flamenco patrimonio

Flamenco patrimonio, by the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía, plays Teatro Cánovas in Málaga on 4 and 5 December 2026 at 8pm.

The production marks the 15th anniversary of flamenco's declaration by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Under the artistic and choreographic direction of Patricia Guerrero, a new generation of artists takes the reins of Andalusia's institutional flamenco company and shows it remains a breeding ground for talent.

The piece opens with the elegance of Arturo Pavón and moves through peteneras, romances and verdiales; continues with a tribute to Granada that fills the stage with the Albaicín and Sacromonte quarters, and ends by reinterpreting the legacy of Enrique Morente. Tickets €20.
