Éxtasis

Éxtasis, by Ángel en Danza, plays Teatro Cánovas in Málaga on 16 and 17 April 2027 at 8pm.

An experimental, research-based piece that sets out to test whether the communication between stage and audience can produce a shared altered state of consciousness. Drawing on what neuroscience tells us about dance and music, dancers, musicians and performers lead the audience through a ritual in which emotional energy and the syncing of rhythms shape the journey.

Part of a doctoral research project at the University of Málaga. With Pedro Ariza, Nacho Fortes, Jupa Arias, Diego Arias and Mercedes Ángel. Tickets €20.
