El pianista de la mano izquierda

Manuel López, known as “the left-hand pianist”, gives his recital “Del Alma al Duende” at the Fundación Hispania Musica in Málaga, his home city, on Saturday 26 December 2026 at 7.30pm.

After recovering from a stroke and more than twenty years with focal dystonia, López plays with his left hand alone. He presents a new album and his own compositions, alongside works by Chopin, tributes to Ludovico Einaudi and a journey through Spanish music: Albéniz, Manuel de Falla (Dance of the Miller and Ritual Fire Dance), Granados (Valses poéticos and Spanish dances), the Concierto de Aranjuez and the flamenco of Paco de Lucía.
