El corazón de Ester, by Alberto Cortés, plays Teatro Cánovas in Málaga on 21 and 22 May 2027 at 8pm.
In 19th-century rural England, a manuscript surfaces, signed by Ester, a mysterious and deeply religious young woman. Her diaries and love poems tell how she gradually wasted away, giving herself entirely to her lovers and loved ones, until she vanished without a trace. From that story, Cortés builds a direct confession to the audience, an intimate ritual of the spoken word.
With musical direction and violin by Luz Prado, guitars by Adriano Galante and the ProyectoEle choir. Tickets €20.
