Saturday 31 October 2026 at 8pm — Teatro Cervantes, Málaga
Broken Tango, by the company R.E.A. Danza, plays Teatro Cervantes in Málaga on Saturday 31 October 2026 at 8pm, on the tour marking the company's 15th anniversary.
The piece is set in a brothel in early-20th-century Buenos Aires, a world of artificial relationships and false feelings, and from there traces a hundred years of tango's evolution – from its early figures to today's forms and to steps created by the company itself, combined with acrobatics and video projections.
R.E.A. Danza, founded in Argentina and now based in Spain, has over three decades of history and has shared the stage with figures such as Julio Bocca and Ángel Corella. Choreography and direction by Diego Arias and Jupa Arias, with live music from Proyecto Tamgú. Running time: 1h40. Tickets from €9.22 (up to €38.91).
