The Auditorio Municipal Príncipe de Asturias is Torremolinos's main performing-arts venue, in the upper part of the town, next to the Villa Deportiva sports complex and the Sunday market. It seats 1,790 (and holds over 5,600 standing), with sound and lighting equipment for concerts, ballet, theatre and major cultural events. It belongs to the Andalusian Network of Public Theatres and programmes comedy, musicals, dance and touring national productions.
